Global Report |

List of unaccredited institutions of higher learning

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jump to: navigation, search
Revisions and sourced additions are welcome. Due to the dynamic nature of many unaccredited institutions, there can never be a complete list of unaccredited institutions. Therefore one cannot draw conclusions regarding the status of an institution based on not finding it in this list.

This article lists colleges, seminaries, and universities lacking accreditation. Degrees or other qualifications from unaccredited institutions may not be accepted by civil service or other employers. Some of these institutions are no longer in operation. Several unaccredited universities have names chosen because they are similar to those of accredited institutions or falsely imply that it is a public university.

Institutions that appear on this list are those that grant post-secondary degrees but are listed as unaccredited by a reliable source.
